fix Repair unbalanced braces in the stylesheet
The .masthead rule had lost its closing brace, so the parser swallowed the whole .site-footer rule as junk and dropped it, and the masthead's own gap and min-height lines sat orphaned after .deployment-version. This predates today's work. Three stray closing braces from today's block rewrites — after the accordion animation and the toast rules — are removed too; browsers skip those silently, but they were wrong. Restore the masthead as flex with its gap and let it size to its contents. The footer's margin, rule, colour, and centring apply again.
